About Tangi

The Tangi Street Art Festival is a vibrant initiative by the Kolaborasi Dunia Tangi Foundation, a non-profit organisation dedicated to creating and celebrating public art. Founded in 2022 by a group of artists sharing a concern for Bali's quieted street art scene following the pandemic, Tangi meaning "awake" in the Balinese language was born to reignite creativity and bring fresh energy to the community. More than just a festival, Tangi serves as a platform that unites people through creativity, collaboration, and cultural exchange. Since its debut in 2023, the festival has become a dynamic space where local and international artists converge to share ideas, skills, and experiences, fostering lasting connections.
