Tangi Colour Connect
Tangi Colour Connect is an official project launched by Tangi Street Art Festival in 2025. Previously, in 2024, we ran a similar initiative under the name Cultural Exchange, and now we are expanding the vision with a fresh direction and renewed energy. This initiative bridges cultures through the transformative power of street art, fostering international collaboration and artistic exchange. By connecting street art festivals worldwide, Tangi Colour Connect creates opportunities for artists to share their craft, immerse themselves in new cultural landscapes, and exchange ideas beyond borders.

In 2025, we are strengthening this vision by collaborating with international festivals, facilitating talent exchanges between Indonesia and global partners. Through this program, we aim to cultivate mutual understanding, inspire diverse communities, and celebrate the universal language of art.
Cultural Exhange:
Tangi x Darwin Street Art Festival
The collaboration project between the Darwin Street Art Festival (Australia) and the Tangi Street Art Festival Bali marks an exciting cultural exchange initiative that commenced following the visit of three Bali artists to Darwin last year with Darwin X Bali Neighborhood Collaboration program initiated by Anna Weekes and Ika Yuliana supported by Australia Council for the Arts and Indonesia Cultural Ministry Fund. This partnership aims to foster cross-cultural dialogue, artistic exchange, and community engagement through the vibrant medium of street art. This year, we continue the partnership by providing a platform for artists to showcase their talents on an international stage, allowing them to reach new audiences and cultivate global recognition for their work, both in Darwin and Bali. Three artists from Tangi will participate in Darwin Street Art Festival in May - June 2024, and later Tangi will host Darwin artists to have residency in Bali.

The Wall in Darwin, Australia
As part of the cultural exchange at Darwin Street Art Festival, Balinese artists Dwymabim, Zolalongor, and Pansaka joined forces to create a stunning collaborative mural. Blending their unique styles and artistic expertise, they crafted a piece that beautifully showcased Balinese culture, incorporating traditional elements, mythological symbols, and contemporary interpretations. This mural not only highlighted the rich artistic heritage of Bali but also served as a bridge between cultures, fostering deeper connections between Indonesian and Australian street art communities.
