Bacoey
Is our artist line-up for Tangi Street Art Festival 2026
Born and based in Singaraja, Bacoey has been passionate about drawing since childhood, with a dream of becoming a painter. His journey into street art began unexpectedly in 2019, when he attended Secretfest and was invited to participate on the spot. That moment became his first experience in a new artistic field.
Since then, he has continued exploring street art using spray-based materials, developing his own approach while balancing it with his daily life. For Bacoey, creating art is a way to express himself and find space within the rhythm of everyday routines.
Bacoey was one of the invited artists for Tangi Street Art Festival 2026, held from 10–16 May 2026 in Glagalinggah, Kintamani, Bali, under the theme “Mulat Sarira,” a Balinese phrase that means to reflect upon oneself.
The 2026 edition invited artists to explore the relationship between personal reflection, community, and the environment. Through the act of creating in public space, the festival encouraged participants to look inward with honesty and awareness while considering how individual actions and expressions influence the world around them.
Set within the landscape of Kintamani, Tangi Street Art Festival 2026 transformed public spaces into places for artistic dialogue, cultural exchange, and shared reflection. Alongside mural creation, the festival included workshops, performances, educational programs, and community activities that connected artists with local residents and visitors throughout the week.
