Tri Haryoko Adi, better known as Unclejoy, started drawing faces in the streets of Bali in 2000. His work reflects the diversity of people and expressions around him, exploring mediums from sneakers and toys to plush dolls. Now based in Bali, he focuses on character drawing, doodling, and incorporating traditional Balinese and Indonesian elements—from Mahabharata stories to Japanese robots—creating a unique blend of influences that celebrates Indonesia’s cultural heritage.
Alfan Manthovani is a visual artist from Bali who began his artistic journey in 2011. Starting with murals, he later expanded to illustrations for brands and companies. His work often features vibrant, comic-inspired depictions of women, reflecting contemporary life, social commentary, and the duality of modernity.
Ray Agus Yuda, known as Loostmind, is a Tabanan-based street artist whose work blends Balinese symbols and ornaments with contemporary styles using his signature calligraffity technique—a fusion of graffiti and calligraphy.
Together, the three artists collaborated on a mural for the first edition of Tangi Street Art Festival 2023.
Unclejoy, Alfan, and Loostmind are three invited artists for the first edition of Tangi Street Art Festival, 2023, under the theme “Paras Paros” or “spirit of togetherness.” The festival used street art to inspire and uplift the energy of local youth, transforming public spaces into shared areas of creativity, dialogue, and community. Their collaboration wall showcased the fusion of their distinctive styles, highlighting harmony through diversity and celebrating the unique strengths of each artist.

In this collaboration, Alfan, Unclejoy, and Loostmind combined their unique styles into a cohesive mural. Alfan brought vibrant depictions of women with strong comic-inspired lines, infusing energy and joy. Unclejoy contributed his expertise in character creation, merging traditional Balinese and Indonesian elements with playful and imaginative designs. Loostmind added depth with his calligraffity technique, integrating Balinese symbols and contemporary motifs.
Despite differing approaches, the three artists inspired and respected each other, resulting in a harmonious mural that embodies diversity, unity, and shared creativity. Their collaborative work reflects the festival’s mission to celebrate togetherness, transform public space, and leave a lasting, inspiring mark on the community.
