Tangi Colour Connect 2025
Indonesia x Japan

What is Colour Connect Program?

In 2025, Tangi Street Art Festival proudly launches the Colour Connect Program, a global artist exchange initiative created to build lasting artistic and cultural connections through mural creation and collaboration.

Colour Connect acts as a cultural bridge, linking artists, ideas, and communities across borders through the universal language of street art. Each year, the program invites international partners to co-create with Tangi artists, exchanging stories, techniques, and perspectives that enrich both sides of the experience.

2025 Edition: Tangi x Yodokabe

For its inaugural edition, Colour Connect partners with YODOKABE, a renowned street art platform and festival based in Osaka, Japan. Together, we bring Indonesian and Japanese artists into creative dialogue, celebrating the shared values of craftsmanship, community, and cultural expression.

Through this exchange, Japanese artist BAKIBAKI joins Tangi Street Art Festival in Bali, while Balinese artist Dwymabim represents Bali at YODOKABE Festival in Osaka. The collaboration goes beyond murals and builds bridges between two island cultures that share deep traditions of visual storytelling and respect for craft.
