Dwymabim

Is our artist line-up for Colour Connect Program 2025

Dwymabim is a visual artist whose work explores the female perspective, focusing on body expressions, gestures, and social narratives. He merges Balinese culture with elements of pop culture to create pieces that are both socially aware and visually engaging. His signature use of contrasting colors—especially in depictions of women—creates a striking visual identity. While the colors contrast sharply, they harmonize into a unified composition that invites aesthetic appreciation and contemplation. Through his work, Dwymabim encourages viewers to recognize and reflect on beauty, both in human form and in the broader social context, emphasizing its role as a vital and sought-after element of life.

As one of two selected artists for Tangi Colour Connect 2025, Dwymabim represented Bali in the cultural exchange program with YODOKABE Street Art Festival in Osaka, Japan. His mural in the Yodogawa area bridges Balinese identity with Japanese context through his signature expressive style and vibrant palette.
