Is our artist line-up for Tangi Street Art Festival 2026

For the first time in Tangi’s lineup, we welcome an artist duo. Yok & Sheryo are interdisciplinary artists with roots in street art and graffiti, originally from Australia and Singapore.

Their work is bold, playful, and often irreverent, spanning murals, paintings, sculptures, and experiential installations. Through their practice, they explore personal narratives, identity, and cultural exchange, often drawing from contemporary folklore, mythology, and cross-cultural influences shaped by their travels.

Their world, often referred to as Yeahnahnesia, reflects a unique universe where cultures collide and stories take on new forms.

Yok and Sheryo was one of the invited artists for Tangi Street Art Festival 2026, held from 10–16 May 2026 in Glagalinggah, Kintamani, Bali, under the theme “Mulat Sarira,” a Balinese phrase that means to reflect upon oneself.

The 2026 edition invited artists to explore the relationship between personal reflection, community, and the environment. Through the act of creating in public space, the festival encouraged participants to look inward with honesty and awareness while considering how individual actions and expressions influence the world around them.

Set within the landscape of Kintamani, Tangi Street Art Festival 2026 transformed public spaces into places for artistic dialogue, cultural exchange, and shared reflection. Alongside mural creation, the festival included workshops, performances, educational programs, and community activities that connected artists with local residents and visitors throughout the week.
