Eligibility

The open call is open to all artists worldwide, regardless of age, nationality, or professional status.

Accepted mediums include murals, graffiti, installations, and other forms of street art.

Each artwork must be original and created within the last 5 years.

Submission Process

All submissions must be made through the official festival website.

This open call does not have a deadline at the moment. The Tangi Street Art Festival is a new initiative aiming to build a database of talented artists for potential invitations to future editions.

Selection Process

Selection criteria include originality, artistic quality, relevance to the festival's theme, and feasibility of execution.

Artists who submit their work may be considered for current or future editions of the festival. If selected, they will be contacted by the festival organizers.

We receive a high volume of submissions and inquiries every day, and this form is intended to help us organize and expand our artist database. By submitting, your profile will be kept on file for consideration for upcoming editions of the festival, for up to three years.

Due to the large number of submissions, we may not be able to respond to each application individually. However, if your work is selected, the Tangi team will contact you directly.

Support for Selected Artists

The festival strives to provide necessary resources such as materials, flights, and accommodation for selected artists.

We actively work with embassies and international organizations to secure funding for artists. If you are willing to collaborate with us to obtain sponsorship or financial support, this will increase the chances of covering your expenses.

Artist Responsibilities

Artists must adhere to all local laws, regulations, and safety guidelines during the creation and installation of their artworks.

Artists must respect Balinese traditions, customs, and Indonesian cultural values while working on their artworks.

Financial Terms

Selected artists may receive an honorarium to assist with expenses, depending on the festival’s funding and sponsorships.

Liability

Artists are required to have personal insurance to cover any potential risks during the festival, including accidents, health issues, or unforeseen circumstances.

By submitting an application, artists agree to abide by these terms and conditions and acknowledge that submission does not guarantee selection for participation in any specific edition of the festival.
