Kids Workshop

As part of Tangi Street Art Festival 2026, the Kids Workshop Program invites children to experience art as a space for play, exploration, and self expression. Conducted in collaboration with the students of SDN 2 Kintamani, these workshops are designed to encourage creativity through hands-on activities that connect art with everyday life.

Inspired by the festival theme Mulat Sarira, the program creates a supportive environment where children can explore their imagination, emotions, and personal identity while learning new artistic techniques.

Workshop Programs

1. Colors of Me

Painting Workshop by Eviberryy

In this workshop, children create their own painted tote bags using colors, shapes, and personal symbols that reflect their feelings and experiences. The activity encourages self expression and gives each participant a functional artwork they can bring home and use in their daily life.

2. Print & Play

Children’s Workshop by I Komang Adiartha

This session introduces children to the basics of lino printing using their own clothing and everyday materials as creative surfaces. Through experimentation, stamping, and playful exploration, participants discover alternative ways of making art while developing curiosity and confidence through hands-on learning.

About the Program

The Tangi Educational Program 2026 is part of the festival’s ongoing commitment to engaging local communities and introducing creative practices to younger generations. By combining painting, printmaking, and collaborative learning, the Kids Workshop Program celebrates the joy of creativity and the importance of nurturing artistic expression from an early age.
